My mantra for this week stood out for me at Jan's blog 'awake is good'in the comments section. There was a comment quoting this prayer
All shall be well,
and all shall be well,
and all manner of things shall be well
-- Christian mystic Julian of Norwich
and I felt at peace reading it.This mantra should help me this week as it is going to be a tough week with my father going for hip surgery in 2 days.
I have used the template of the grungy stripes and vintage floral business card I designed forREFLECTIONS to create todays art.
Julian's prayer is one of my favorites and I find I say it often. Very often these days. I add your father to my list of those to whom I send Reiki energy. And to you so that you remember to trust while you worry...because after all, you're only a daughter who loves her father very much. How can you help but worry a bit? Hugs to both.
ReplyDeleteSema,
ReplyDeleteHow nice to find this here. Truly, this is one of my favorite mantras and I think if people will give it a try it can very helpful in reducing fear and anxiety. I recall one of the first times I seriously used it years ago was while flying. I am a chicken flyer and one big bounce of turbulence and I am white knuckling it. This mantra helped me (still does) when fear and worry come to call. It is quite magical!
May you and your father be peaceful and at ease....
I love it, what a great job.
ReplyDeleteAll shall be well. Please.
