Values are not taught but caught

Hay House, Inc. 250x250

"Values are not taught but caught"

(I painted this cute boy in corel-photo-paint)

These were the words of wisdom that I learnt at a workshop for parents at my daughter's school this week. And it is my 6 words for 6WS at ShowMyFace.

The following quotation expresses this beautifully.

"There are little eyes upon you and they're watching night and day.
There are little ears that quickly take in every word you say.
There are little hands all eager to do everything you do.
And a little child who's dreaming of the day he'll be like you."

  5. I've seen this quote before, and it is so true. Thanks for a great reminder. I've copied and pasted it to send to family.

  6. Hi Sema, this reminds me of "Little pitchers have big ears."

You do good with that Corel-photo-paint.
Your cute boy wants me to wish that I
could paint just a little bit like you do.

Happy (late) 6WS! Thank you for peeking
in on mine, I am sorry I am late in
    returning your nice comment.

  7. Such a cute little man you painted! And such wise words. It's true - we never know who is watching and following our example.

    Thanks for playing 6WS!
