Wednesday wish-Soup for the Soul

Jamie's question to us this week-

what do you wish to savour?

Getting back my net connection calls for celebrations and I would love to savour the mouthwatering array of my favorite indian sweets like laddoos, basundi, rasamalai, jangri and gulab jamuns and not worry about adding the calories to my weight.
How wonderful it would be to have creamy icecream with hot chocolate sauce and fried nuts over them and not feel guilty of overeating!
On the philosophical note, I would love to have my soup for the soul.A daily dose of love, affection, attention, motivation and inspiration. It would be great to savour these pleasures and also offer these to those I meet online and offline.

  1. Well said! And, your art is one of the spices that feed me quite well.

As Sema wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with intention wish for her also.

Welcome back, welcome back...and I've never tasted any of these sweet treats you listed so I wish we could sit together and you could teach me to love them with you! No calories, just fun!!

  4. beautiful! i watched a movie a couple months ago called "Water." It was kind of a sad movie, but beautifully done and cinematically beautiful. Gulab jamuns were a "key ingredient" in that movie. If you haven't seen it, you should at least watch the trailer. have a beautiful day!

That which you wish for, I wish for you also.

  13. May these wishes come true for you, truly! The Indian food sounds amazing, would love to sample some. I do love good ethnic food. :-)

My hope for myself is to continue to savor the days at hand. It is truly summer here and though quite warm, I am loving the full bloom of the season. Not to mention gorgeous sunsets. My soup includes what I have mentioned here, simple pleasures, especially those found in nature, mixed well with love of family and friends and the Divine one who flows through all...

  14. Mmmm those sweets sound incredibly yummy -- and to do without caloric worries would be dreamy!

Here's to soup for the soul in art, too... I like this inspired version of the soup can -- way better than Warhol's! :)
