I am happy to share this quote for this week's sunday citar.I found this quote while surfing for butterflies quotations for my squidoo lens on butterflies.I have created this lens with 10 butterflies quotes and 112 butterflies gifts.I think this quote holds truth, as one of my wednesday wishes was to promote my zazzle store REFLECTIONS .I created the squidoo lens to help me in this.In the lens I had featured other fellow zazzlers products too.One of them Hilly,a successful zazzler gave me a pleasant shock today by featuring my store as the shop of the month in her website tshirt-total .Please do visit the website as it gives you a great shopping experience in a selection of the best of zazzle shops.

6WS-Feeling Great...

Feeling Great...learning a new technique.

These 6 words for 6WordSaturday describes how I feel today.

I have been planning to create a squidoo lens to promote my products at zazzle store REFLECTIONS but kept postponing it as I didn't know how to upload the images as a link.Yesterday I found a useful lens describing the process of adding html to the text modules.I followed it to create my lens for Thank you photocards-Show your appreciation with thank you photocards.I knew nothing of html and all this was new to me.First the pictures didn't upload properly then redoing the process I got the hang of the technique of copying links and deleting unwanted html .After 3 hours of learning,creating and redoing I am feeling great,having learnt a new technique to make my blogging experience interesting.

I was thrilled to see the above design chosen as one of today's best designs at zazzle.

I developed the design from a ink and paint sketch I did today. I then worked in photoshop to get the green pattern.

I drew this abstract tree in black ink and then added color with pearl acrylic colors to add shimmer to the painting. I painted this art for my wetcanvas forum thread of daily paintings but felt with the shimmer it will be a nice painting to submit to the inspiration-avenue challenge this week-shimmer,too!

The design is available as a binder cover design too!

What do you wish to complete?

I wish to complete...

1.Creating a plan to promote my zazzle store REFLECTION.

I love designing and have created 461 products ,till now ,using my designs.I have sold a few products but sales is slow. Promotion is very important in selling and I wish to create a plan to succeed in it.

2.Creating a diet plan to follow .

The past 2 months has been busy with going out of town often that I have put on weight without proper exercise and diet control.I wish to start again being more disciplined in my food habits.

3.Clearing the house to make it ready for the festival.

Deepavali is our festival for welcoming prosperity and abundance in to our lives and I wish my home to be ready for it.

My word for ABCwednesday is Lamps .Lamps symbolise the festival of lights in our country.

Deepavali meaning 'rows of lights 'is an important festival,celabrated with enthusiasm all over india.Deepavali symbolizes the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spirutual darkness.It is the celabration of victory of good over evil and the glory of light.Deepavali is celabrated on the new moon day in the month of october and is on 17th this year.

Indians give expression to their happiness by lighting earthen ‘diyas’ (lamps), decorating the houses,wearing new clothes, bursting firecrackers and inviting near and dear ones to their households for partaking in a sumptuous feast. It is wonderful to see the rows and rows of beautiful lamps , lighting up our homes.The lighting of lamps is a way of paying obeisance to god for attainment of health, wealth, knowledge, peace, valor and fame. It is not only aesthetically beautiful but has a deeper meaning to it as we are warding off the darkness of ignorance, of anger, of temptations, with the light of wisdom, love and freedom.

The festival ushers in the beginning of prosperity and abundance and an atmosphere of joy and festivity is in the air now as people prepare for the magical day.

This is my 100th post and I wish to thank my followers at this time for following my blog and giving me encouragement through their comments.I value them a lot . My sincere thanks to all.
